"Hello and welcome to Contaio, the young and powerful know-how provider from Münster"
Contaio is still a young and small team from Münster. We combine many years of experience in the field of software development and are absolute top performers, mainly in the field of Java development. Most of our experience is based on the implementation of software projects with and around FirstSpirit, the CMS from the Dortmund-based manufacturer Crownpeak, formerly e-Spirit.
We do not limit ourselves to our many years of experience with FirstSpirit, but we also look beyond the end of our nose and are happy to help our customers with all other software development problems and tasks.

Contaio was founded because we want to provide our customers with holistic support. In doing so, we are not afraid to question the tried and tested and break new ground. We always follow the principle of “nothing is impossible” and see problems as challenges for which there are no solutions. With this endeavor, we meet our customers at eye level.
Timeline
Even though we are still a young company and our milestones are manageable, we naturally do not want to withhold them from you. Below you will find all the relevant events.
Feburary 2021:
Foundation of Contaio - Software Solutions as a sole proprietorship.
March 2021:
Our first two customers.
January 2022:
Our team is growing! We welcome Armin W. to the team
July 2022:
We settle down and set up our own office, which we affectionately call the “pool house”.
January 2023:
Re-establishment as Contaio - Software Solutions GmbH
June 2023:
Another addition. Now we welcome Simon H. to the team.
The Contaio team: Who are we actually?
“A friendly hello from the Münsterland!”
We would like to take this opportunity to briefly introduce ourselves: who we are, what we do and what motivates us. Basically, we are all smart Java enthusiasts who enjoy challenges and are determined to satisfy our customers.
Founder and Managing Director, Java developer and CMS FirstSpirit expert
I've now been working in Java development for over 20 years, 10 of which have been spent working with FirstSpirit alone. So I'm probably already a veteran. I started out in the German Armed Forces and have remained loyal to software development, especially with Java. Now, after 7 years at e-Spirit (now Crownpeak), I founded Contaio in 2021 to be able to help customers beyond the CMS. As a big fan of challenges, I don't shy away from finding solutions where there seem to be none.

I started my career solidly and successfully with a bachelor's degree in computer science. I then worked for e-Spirit (now Crownpeak), the manufacturer of the enterprise CMS FirstSpirit. During this 6-year period, I worked in an agile environment with state-of-the-art technologies on a wide variety of projects. I always followed the principles of a clear product vision as well as constructive and transparent communication with all participants. The trust of the customer was always my driving force.
